Inspired by Deftones’ Change (In the House of Flies), the painting captures that haunting sense of metamorphosis, where things shift, dissolve, and reform, never quite returning to what they once were.
Originally painted in 2017 and revisited in 2021, this work itself embodies change. Time left its mark, new layers emerged, and its meaning evolved—mirroring the song’s eerie beauty, its slow unraveling of identity and self.
